Sometimes A Great Notion
When we are born, the adhaan is given, but there is no salat. When the angel of death comes to claim our soul, salat is prayed upon us, yet no adhaan is given. Such an equine thought, an absolute symbolism. The adhaan given at the time of each of our births is the adhaan for the salat prayed at the time of our death.
