Passacaglia
In ways we are all like the strings of a violin, awaiting moments in which we will be forced to feel the vivid strike of a bow that that gives us life. The bow may strike at us in limitless ways, with countless possibilities, each resulting in our own unique rhythm, our own harmony. This harmony resonates through vibrations which coarse the air, sailing majestically into the river of countless other arpeggios. Together, they form a bond so intricate, so vast, so collectively colossal, defining such an intelligent design is beyond all comprehension. Each note coincides with another, sometimes complimenting the wondrous melody. Other times, our notes are played flat or sharp, and we worry that we have started playing out of synchronization with this grand design, worried that our new melody will not fit with the main harmony. Alas, if only we could see the movement until the last measure, we would realize that these notes were meant to be played in the piece all along. And we would discover that the harmonies we had been creating all this time, would not compare to such an extraordinary harmony that was to come later in the piece. We often learn of things that we perceive as misfortune, to be bad for us. We must learn to understand God’s wonders in all that exists. In every misfortune He has only created opportunity, and in every opportunity, He has crafted something better for us. We must learn to see past what we perceive as reasonable, as reality. If we are observant, if we can learn to see every creation of God as beautiful, as having meaning, purpose, we can begin to understand that there is significance in every action, and every reaction that has ever occurred. And once we truly start to hear the melodies of life, we will seize every opportunity that is laid upon our feet, we will harness the potential that is within each and every single one of us, and become that which God has deemed is best for us. So do not stop playing when you feel you have lost your way in the complexities of life, for another indescribable melody is to be formed from this sense of displacement, until you have played the most illustrious unison ever heard. Let its beauty flow to others, and guide them to their own masterpieces waiting to be discovered, for every individual’s harmony has already been written, it is only waiting to be played. Life has a melody, a rhythm of notes that become your existence.
